Este artigo pretende fazer uma breve aplicação dos pressupostos teóricos de Halliday sobre a Gramática Sistêmico-Funcional e o sistema da transitividade (metafunção Ideacional), com o objetivo de comprovar que, por meio da identificação de escolhas lingüísticas, é possível demonstrar que a opção pela carreira de professora está centrada na autora do texto analisado e em suas ações.

Abstract

This article intends to briefly apply Halliday theories about the Systemic Functional Grammar and the transitivity system (Ideation) and intends to prove that by identifying the linguistic chooses it is possible to demonstrate that the choice for the teacher’s career is focused on the author of the analyzed text and on her actions.
